How UNICASH Top Deals work
Top Deals are offers from Australian stores, with prices we check and the time of the last check on each deal. The saving is the store’s own discount only: the store’s “was” price for the same cheapest in-stock option, minus the price we checked, rounded down to a whole percent. It is shown only when the price was checked in the last 72 hours, and never above 85%. When the store takes part in UNICASH, an eligible order also earns Points — they are shown on a separate line and are never added into the saving (1,000 Points = A$1). You open the deal from UNICASH, shop at the store as you normally would, and the Points are matched to your account without any code to enter or receipt to upload. Points appear as Pending first, then move to Available Points once the store confirms the order — usually 30 to 60 days, depending on their returns window.
Free accounts earn Points on eligible orders at participating stores. An active Membership applies a boost, so the same order earns more — both figures are shown on each deal before you shop. Gift card purchases, cancelled or returned orders, delivery charges and discount codes from outside UNICASH never earn Points; each deal also lists its own store exclusions.
- How is the "Save" figure worked out?
- The saving is the store’s own discount only: the store’s “was” price for the same cheapest in-stock option, minus the price we checked, rounded down to a whole percent. It is shown only when the price was checked in the last 72 hours, and never above 85%. When the store takes part in UNICASH, an eligible order also earns Points — they are shown on a separate line and are never added into the saving (1,000 Points = A$1).
- How do I earn the Points on a Top Deal?
- Open the deal from this page and finish your order at the partner store in the same browser session. We match the order to your account and add the Points automatically — there is nothing to claim.
- When do the Points reach my balance?
- They show as Pending within about 7 days, then move to Available Points once the partner confirms the order. Each deal states its own confirmation window, usually 30 to 60 days, because partners wait for their returns period to close.
- Do I need a paid Membership?
- No. Free accounts earn Points on eligible orders at participating stores. An active Membership applies a boost, so the same order earns more — each deal shows the difference before you shop.
- What does saving a deal do?
- It keeps the deal in your Saved tab and flags it if the price falls further. Useful for the bigger purchases you are watching rather than buying today.
- What stops an order from earning Points?
- Gift card purchases, orders paid with a gift card, cancelled or returned items, delivery charges, and discount codes from outside UNICASH. Each deal lists its partner-specific exclusions too.
- My order did not appear. What now?
- Give it 7 days first — matching is not instant. After that, contact support with your order number and date and we will chase it with the partner.
