Top Deals Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2026-10-05

These Terms and Conditions (Top Deals Terms) apply when you use Top Deals on the UNICASH platform to visit a partner store and earn Top Deals Points. They are read together with the UNICASH Terms and Conditions (the Platform Terms). If these Top Deals Terms and the Platform Terms are inconsistent, these Top Deals Terms apply to Top Deals. Capitalised words not defined here have the meaning given in the Platform Terms.

Top Deals is a shopping rewards benefit. There is no draw and no element of chance. UNICASH does not sell the products shown in Top Deals and does not set their prices.

1. How Top Deals works

1.1 Top Deals shows offers from participating online stores (Partner Stores). When you select Shop at {store} or View deal, UNICASH records your visit and sends you to the Partner Store through a tracking link.

1.2 UNICASH receives a commission from the Partner Store (directly or through an affiliate network) when a tracked purchase is confirmed. Top Deals Points are a share of that benefit given back to you as Points.

1.3 Your purchase is a contract between you and the Partner Store. The Partner Store is responsible for the products, prices, stock, delivery, returns, refunds and warranties. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law against the Partner Store are not affected by these Top Deals Terms.

1.4 Prices, discounts and stock shown in Top Deals are checked regularly but can change at any time on the Partner Store's site. The price you pay is the price shown by the Partner Store at checkout.

2. Who can earn Top Deals Points

2.1 Any Member with an Account in good standing who meets the eligibility requirements of the Platform Terms can earn Top Deals Points. Members on the free plan earn base Points; Members with an active paid Membership also earn the Membership bonus shown in the Schedule.

2.2 Whether the Membership bonus applies is decided by your Membership status at the time you click through to the Partner Store. Upgrading or cancelling after that click does not change the Points for that purchase.

2.3 You must be signed in to your Account when you click through. Purchases made without clicking through from Top Deals while signed in cannot be tracked and do not earn Top Deals Points.

3. Making sure your purchase is tracked

3.1 To give your purchase the best chance of being tracked:

(a) click through from Top Deals and complete your purchase in the same browser session, without leaving and returning to the Partner Store from another site; (b) allow cookies on the Partner Store's site; (c) do not use another rewards, referral, coupon or browser-extension service for the same purchase, as the Partner Store usually attributes the purchase to the last referring service only; (d) use only discount codes shown in Top Deals or issued by the Partner Store directly to you.

3.2 Some purchases are excluded by the Partner Store, for example gift cards, certain brands or categories, purchases paid with store credit, or purchases made in-store or by phone. Known exclusions are shown on the store page and the deal page.

3.3 Tracking depends on the Partner Store and its affiliate network. UNICASH cannot guarantee that every purchase will be tracked, but you can make a Missing Points claim under clause 7.

4. How Points are calculated

4.1 Top Deals Points for a purchase are calculated as:

(a) the eligible purchase amount reported by the Partner Store, multiplied by the Points rate shown for that store or category when you clicked through (base Points); plus (b) the Membership bonus, if clause 2.2 applies; then (c) limited to the maximum Points per purchase in the Schedule; then (d) rounded down to the nearest 10 Points.

4.2 The eligible purchase amount is the amount the Partner Store reports as eligible. It usually excludes delivery fees, taxes and charges the store excludes, gift cards, and any item that is returned or cancelled. It may be lower than the amount you paid.

4.3 The Points amount shown before your purchase is an estimate based on the displayed price. The Points added are based on the eligible purchase amount actually reported for your purchase.

4.4 Where part of an order is returned or cancelled before your Points are added, the Points are recalculated on the remaining eligible amount, using the rate and Membership status recorded at your click.

5. Status of your purchase

5.1 You can follow each purchase under Shopping Points in your Account:

StatusWhat it means
Awaiting saleYou clicked through; the store has not reported a purchase yet
PendingThe store has reported your purchase; Points are shown as expected but are not yet added
Points addedThe store confirmed the purchase as final and the Points are in your Earned & Booster Points balance
Not creditedThe store declined the purchase (for example, it was returned, cancelled or not eligible)
Points adjustedThe store reversed the purchase after Points were added — see clause 8
Under reviewUNICASH is reviewing the purchase under clause 9

5.2 Pending Points cannot be used for Bonus Draws, Gift Card redemptions or anything else until they are added.

6. When Points are added

6.1 Points are added only after the Partner Store (or its affiliate network) confirms the purchase is final — usually after the store's return period ends — plus 24 hours. This commonly takes 30 to 90 days from the purchase date and can take longer for some stores.

6.2 Points are added in a daily run, as shown in the Schedule. You will be notified by email when Points are added.

6.3 If a Partner Store does not confirm a purchase as final, Points for that purchase are not added automatically. UNICASH will review the purchase and contact the store or network, and you may make a claim under clause 7.

6.4 Once added, Top Deals Points form part of your Earned & Booster Points balance. They do not expire while your Account remains open, and are subject to clause 7.3 of the Platform Terms.

7. Missing Points claims

7.1 If a purchase does not appear, or appears with the wrong amount, you can make a claim from Shopping Points between 7 and 90 days after the purchase date. You may be asked for your order confirmation.

7.2 UNICASH will send the claim to the Partner Store or its network, which decides whether the purchase was tracked. UNICASH will tell you the outcome and the reason.

7.3 Where the store or network does not resolve a claim, UNICASH may, at its discretion, add goodwill Points. Goodwill Points will not exceed the Points you would have earned for that purchase.

7.4 You cannot receive Points twice for one purchase. If goodwill Points are added and the store later confirms the same purchase, the Points added for the confirmed purchase are reduced by the goodwill Points already added.

8. Purchases reversed after Points are added

8.1 A Partner Store or its network may reverse a purchase after Top Deals Points have been added — for example, because the order was returned, cancelled, refunded or charged back, was not eligible, or was tracked in error.

8.2 If that happens, UNICASH will deduct the Top Deals Points that were added for that purchase (Reversed Points) as follows:

(a) the Reversed Points are deducted from your Earned & Booster Points balance, up to the balance available at the time. This balance can include Points from Point Boosters you have purchased; (b) Points from your Membership (monthly Membership Points) are never deducted; (c) your balance is never reduced below zero.

8.3 If your Earned & Booster Points balance is lower than the Reversed Points — for example because you have already used the Points for a Gift Card or a Bonus Draw — the difference is recorded in your Account as a Points Balance Owing.

8.4 A Points Balance Owing:

(a) is recovered only from Top Deals Points you earn on later purchases, before those Points are added to your balance; (b) is not recovered from Points you purchase through Point Boosters after the reversal, from Membership Points, from Scan Receipts, or from any other source; (c) is not a debt payable in money. UNICASH will not ask you to pay it in cash and does not charge interest or fees on it; (d) is shown in Shopping Points, together with the purchase it relates to.

8.5 Gift Card redemptions and Bonus Draw entries already completed with Points are not cancelled because of a reversal.

8.6 UNICASH will email you when Points are deducted, with the purchase, the reason given by the store or network, the Points deducted and any Points Balance Owing.

8.7 If you think a reversal is wrong, contact support within 30 days of the email. UNICASH will ask the Partner Store or network to review it and will restore the Points (and reduce any Points Balance Owing) if the reversal is withdrawn.

8.8 If your Account is closed, any Points Balance Owing is cancelled, unless the Account is closed under clause 9 for fraud or misuse, in which case UNICASH keeps its rights under the Platform Terms and the law.

9. Fraud, misuse and review

9.1 You must not create or arrange purchases to obtain Top Deals Points without a genuine purchase, including by repeatedly buying and returning items, using another person's details, self-referral, or manipulating tracking.

9.2 Where two or more purchases on your Account are reversed within 60 days, or UNICASH reasonably suspects a breach of clause 9.1, UNICASH may place new purchases Under review and hold their Points while it reviews the Account. UNICASH will tell you, and will complete the review within a reasonable time.

9.3 If UNICASH reasonably determines that clause 9.1 has been breached, it may decline Points for the affected purchases, deduct Points under clause 8, suspend Top Deals for the Account, and take the other steps set out in the Platform Terms.

10. Changes to Top Deals

10.1 UNICASH may add or remove Partner Stores, and change Points rates, the Membership bonus or other settings in the Schedule. A change does not reduce Points for a purchase you clicked through to before the change.

10.2 UNICASH may change these Top Deals Terms in accordance with the Platform Terms. If a change is materially adverse to you, UNICASH will give you at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app before it applies.

11. Complaints and contact

11.1 Contact support@unicash.com.au about any Top Deals purchase, claim or deduction. Please include the store, order number and order date.

11.2 Nothing in these Top Deals Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11.3 Store names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are shown to identify the store. It doesn't mean the store endorses UNICASH.

11.4 Store owners can ask us to remove their logo at support@unicash.com.au — we act within 2 business days.
