5x Used Tennis Ball Safety Caps for Garden Stakes, Posts & Star Pickets (Waterproof)

Note: These balls do not come pre-cut. You will cut them to your size required in your garden. These will arrive as regular used tennis balls.

If you've ever brushed past a garden stake and felt that sharp wooden edge, you'll know exactly why these clever little safety caps deserve a spot in every backyard. This set of 5 used tennis balls is ready to be repurposed as protective toppers for your garden stakes, posts, and star pickets — keeping little eyes, faces, and shins safe while your veggie patch thrives underneath a protective net or trellis. It's a practical, resourceful solution that's as Aussie as a Sunday arvo in the garden.

Simply cut a slot into each ball and press it firmly onto the top of your stake or post. The natural grip of the felt exterior holds the netting in place beautifully, while the soft rubber construction cushions any accidental bumps. Whether you're protecting brassicas from the birds or keeping your raised garden beds tidy, these tennis ball caps do the job with zero fuss and a touch of charm.

Key Benefits

• Improves garden safety: Soft rubber construction cushions sharp stake ends, reducing the risk of injury to adults, kids, and pets moving around the garden.
• Holds netting securely: The textured felt surface grips garden netting and bird wire naturally, keeping covers neatly draped without slipping.
• Easy to install: Just cut a slot to size and press onto your stake — no tools, no hardware, no hassle.
• Resourceful and eco-friendly: Gives used tennis balls a meaningful second life instead of sending them to landfill.
• Versatile fit: Suitable for wooden garden stakes, round posts, and star pickets commonly used in raised garden beds and veggie patches.
• Waterproof: The inner lining of a tennis ball is made using rubber, hence they are waterproof from the top when rained on.
