Daiwa 26 TD Battler Spin Rod

The 26 TD Battler is the latest generation of Daiwa Australia's flagship light tackle rod series, developed specifically for Australian anglers. It brings together Daiwa's most advanced rod technologies to deliver outstanding sensitivity, power and responsiveness across a wide range of techniques, with a lineup built around popular freshwater and estuary applications (though certainly not limited to them).

At the heart of each rod is an ultra-premium SVF Compile-X Nanoplus graphite blank, giving an excellent power-to-weight ratio with crisp, lightweight actions. Daiwa's 3DX and X45X Full Shield technologies reduce blank twist, increase lifting power and maximise energy transfer through the cast and the fight, while the latest AGS carbon fibre guides cut weight and improve sensitivity, casting performance and line control.

Completing the package is Daiwa's lightweight ZERO SEAT reel seat, which offers excellent comfort and balance and a direct connection between angler and rod, so subtle bites and lure movements come through clearly. From ultralight finesse presentations through to heavier spin work, there's a 26 TD Battler model to suit a wide variety of lures, line classes and target species.

Features

- SVF Compile-X Nanoplus graphite: nano technology reduces resin and increases carbon density for greater sensitivity, lightness and responsiveness
- X45X Full Shield external blank reinforcement: 25% more efficient than standard X45, with increased torsional stiffness to resist blank twist when casting and jigging
- 3DX blank technology working with X45X to increase lifting power and energy transfer
- Air Guide System (AGS) carbon fibre guides: 40% lighter than an equivalent-sized titanium guide, with faster rod speed, reduced vibration and angler fatigue, and greater sensitivity
- ZERO SEAT reel seat: highly palmable design for comfort, balance and feel
- V-Joint Alpha: 25% lighter and 25% stronger than its predecessor, with bias construction that lets the joint flex with the rod to eliminate flat spots and ferrule weakness
- Designed by Daiwa Australia specifically for Australian anglers
