Presenting an immensely wide field of view within a truly compact package, the Open Box Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens - Sony E Mount provides a huge 210° angle of view for Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. As a circular fisheye, this lens is characterized by its noticeable distortion and bulb-like visual appearance. The greater-than-180° angle of view also enables making full 360° stitched panoramas with just two shots. The lens also sports a bright f/2.8 design for working in available lighting conditions and its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 8cm away for true close-up shooting. Additionally, the fisheye design retains almost full depth of field when stopped down to f/5.6 for consistent and even sharpness

Key Features of the Open Box Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens - Sony E Mount

• Ultra wide-angle 4mm f/2.8 prime is designed for Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras and provides a 6.4mm equivalent focal length.
• Bright f/2.8 maximum aperture is well-suited to working in low and difficult lighting conditions.
• Exceptionally wide 210° angle of view along with a circular fisheye design produces a highly distorted image for creative applications as well as the potential to stitch images together for full 360° panoramas.
• Manual focus design offers a minimum focusing distance of 8cm.
• Lightweight and small design makes this lens suitable for use on drones as well as being ideal for VR imaging, action sports filming, or virtual tours.

210° Circular Perspective

Picture this – you are lingering on a gorgeous mountain hill, sitting under an expansive blue sky. Why not seize this moment and share it in the first angle of view? Featuring a 210° angle of view, the Laowa circular fisheye lens let you capture more than what your eyes can see. Create unique images with your craziest ideas and enjoy this unique experimental perspective.

Focus as close as 8cm

The 8cm closest focus distance (object to the sensor) means that you can focus any objects at a finger away. It enables photographers to get really close to the subject and emphasize the details. The exaggerating angle of view will also provide alternatives to make fun of the amusing big-headed animals (including your friends).

Perfect for 360° Panorama & VR Imaging Needs

Attributed to the ultra wide 210° FOV, you can easily create a full 360° panorama using a maximum of 2-3 images as opposed to shooting 6 images or more with conventional fisheye lenses. This lens is particularly well well-suited for VR photography and shooting virtual tours.

Apart from the 360 degrees panorama, the spherical panorama is also possible with this tiny fisheye lens for "tiny planet" photos.
