Made from stainless steel, the diffuser plate features milled channels and a controlled hole pattern designed to soften the force of incoming water. The paired shower screen increases hole density toward the edge, encouraging more even flow across the puck and helping produce balanced espresso shots.

Available in versions designed to suit a range of espresso machines, the BIT diffuser plate and screen kit offers a straightforward upgrade for improving extraction consistency. Installation replaces the original diffuser and screen assembly, making it an easy improvement for both home and professional coffee setups.

* Please Note: The diffuser plate included with the 54mm kit is supplied by the manufacturer, though it may not be required for all compatible machines. When installed, the group screw may no longer sit fully countersunk due to the design of this aftermarket component. Some Breville machines may also require an M5 × 15mm shower screen screw for correct installation.
