Philip Bunting: Desk Plates - Back to School Classroom Decor

This printable back to school classroom resource is part of the exclusive Philip Bunting x Gifted and Talented Teacher collection. Featuring Philip Bunting’s original illustrations, our classroom decor and back to school activities are designed to save teachers time and create welcoming, engaging primary classrooms.

A desk plate should do more than tell everyone whose desk it is—although that remains a rather useful beginning. This set includes 32 individual desk plate designs featuring exclusive Philip Bunting illustrations, editable student names and optional learning supports that can be changed or removed before printing.

Accessible reference tools placed directly within a student’s workspace can support independence and reduce interruptions during everyday learning. The optional alphabet and number line provide quick prompts when needed, while the flexible design allows teachers to remove them for students who no longer require that support. Same classroom collection. Different learners. No unnecessary clutter.

This teacher resource includes:

• 32 individual desk plate designs
• Exclusive illustrations by Philip Bunting
• Editable student names
• Editable and removable alphabet strip
• Editable and removable number line

Add a name. Keep the helpful bits. Remove the bits that are no longer helpful. Then place it on a desk and give students a sense of ownership over their space.
