Sabi Girls - A new collection by Marcia Priestley.

None of them are one girl exactly — they're composites, borrowed gestures, half-remembered old summers. The Sabi Girls collection is less a portrait series and more a scrapbook of feeling: the drag before the exhale, the taste before the swallow, the pout before the laugh, the stretch before the pop.

Australian Artist, Marcia Priestley’ evokes an alluring narrative fluent with emotion using acrylic and mixed media application. Creating serene viewings, lyrical tones are sculptured and composed from longitudinal arrangements or pattern formation creating movement, body, texture & difference.

Tempering romanticism, realism, simplicity and energy, life is captured in her creative process often occurring with spirited meaning, shaping her symbolic and harmonious style.
