Color Touch Plus is a distinct low-ammonia sub-range created for clients who need more grey blending while still preferring a demi-permanent result; Wella's claim of up to 70% grey coverage applies to Color Touch Plus, not automatically to every Color Touch shade. Color Touch Special Mix is also a specialist sub-range: it is used to intensify, neutralise, dilute or customise a formula and must not be presented as if every Special Mix shade were a conventional standalone depth colour.

Professional Application

Baseline Color Touch and Special Mix services use Color Touch Emulsion, while Color Touch Plus uses its dedicated 4% Plus Emulsion. Application may be to dry, pre-shampooed or towel-dried hair depending on whether the service is a root touch-up, first application or toning service.
