Overview

The Stridsvagn 103, or "S-Tank," is a unique main battle tank developed in Sweden, famous for its innovative turretless design. It aimed its fixed main gun by pivoting the entire vehicle and adjusting its hydropneumatic suspension. The Strv 103C was a comprehensive upgrade program from the 1980s, which added a new engine and transmission, a laser rangefinder, and significantly improved armour protection to keep this radical design effective.

This 1/35 scale kit from Trumpeter allows you to build a detailed replica of the upgraded Strv 103C. The model accurately captures the distinctive low-profile, turretless form of this iconic Cold War vehicle. It includes all the specific features of the 'C' variant, such as the additional armour on the front glacis, the side-mounted external fuel tanks, and the prominent front-mounted dozer blade, making for a truly unique and impressive model.
