Is the GME AW4702B Antenna Whip Right for me?

Alongside considerations of Installation requirements, you need to consider the Gain Rating of your Antenna and how it will impact your use.

The AW4702B from GME is a 6.6dBi/medium-gain antenna, providing a more rounded, broader pattern than a high-gain (8.1dBi) antenna or a unity-gain antenna (2.1dBi). Meaning the signal is less likely to be obstructed by obstacles such as buildings, trees, or mountains. These factors make a medium-gain antenna the best choice for those in suburban areas and the countryside.
