A Laugh-Out-Loud Story About Confidence, Courage & Giving It a Go

Check out more from the For Books For All Ages collection here...

Andy Lee and Heath McKenzie are back with the ninth instalment in the wildly popular Do Not Open This Book series and this time, Wizz is asking pretty please.

Whether “pretty please” is a polite request or a desperate plea is entirely up to you but once this book is opened, there’s no turning back.

In Do Not Open This Book: Pretty Please, Wizz is reunited with his delightful friend Nessie as they navigate a series of highly relatable (and very funny) moments about self-doubt, nerves, and trying new things. With trademark humour and interactive storytelling, Andy Lee gently explores what it means to feel unsure of yourself and how bravery doesn’t mean being fearless, but giving things a go anyway.

Paired with Heath McKenzie’s vibrant, expressive illustrations, this book delivers laugh-out-loud moments alongside a powerful emotional message. It’s the kind of story children beg to read again and one parents and teachers love for the conversations it sparks.

Perfect for classrooms, bedtime reading, and building emotional resilience, this is a must-have addition to any Do Not Open This Book collection.
