Oval Above Counter Art Wash Basin Tempered Glass 510x350x150mm - Colours Available

Infinity Oval Above Counter Tempered Glass Basin

Bring an artistic edge to your vanity with the Infinity Oval Above Counter Art Wash Basin (510×350×150mm). Crafted from toughened tempered glass with a fluted surface texture, it is a basin that functions as a decorative object as much as a functional fixture — catching and refracting light in a way no ceramic or stone basin can replicate. Available in Smoky Blue-Grey, White, and Light Blue, it introduces colour and material contrast that transforms even a simple vanity into a considered design moment.

Fluted Oval Silhouette — Light-Catching Above Counter Presence

The Infinity Oval glass basin takes a deliberate departure from the flat, uniform surfaces of ceramic above counter basins. Its fluted exterior texture runs vertically around the full oval perimeter, creating a surface that shifts in tone and depth as the light changes across it — a quality that makes the basin feel alive in a way that matte or gloss ceramic finishes simply cannot. Installed above the benchtop, the full 150mm depth is exposed, lending the basin a tall, sculptural silhouette that commands attention without occupying excessive counter space.

It pairs naturally with timber vanities, stone benchtops, brushed brass or matte black tapware, and bathroom schemes where texture and material interest are part of the design intent. A strong choice for powder rooms, ensuites, and any space where the basin is meant to be the focal point.

Smoky Blue-Grey, White & Light Blue — Colour Through the Material

Unlike ceramic basins where colour sits as a surface finish, the tint of a glass basin runs through the material itself — so the colour shifts in intensity depending on the angle of view, the thickness of the glass wall, and the light source behind it. Smoky Blue-Grey reads as moody and atmospheric, working well in darker or more dramatic bathroom schemes. White provides the cleanest, most neutral expression of the glass form. Light Blue introduces a cool, calming tone that suits spa-adjacent and coastal-influenced interiors.

All three colours are consistent through the full thickness of the toughened glass body, ensuring the tone remains stable and does not fade or alter with cleaning or prolonged water exposure.

Toughened Tempered Glass Construction — Above Counter Install

Manufactured from toughened tempered glass, the basin is significantly stronger than standard glass — resistant to thermal shock from hot and cold water, surface impact, and the everyday stresses of bathroom use. The smooth interior bowl surface is easy to clean and does not harbour bacteria or soap residue in the way textured surfaces can. The fluted texture is applied only to the exterior of the basin, keeping the interior clean and maintenance-friendly.

Above counter installation places the full oval glass profile above the benchtop. No tap hole is pre-drilled, providing flexibility to pair with a wall-mounted mixer or a deck mixer on the vanity top. Compatible with a standard 32mm pop-up waste (no overflow). Note: small bubbles within the glass body are a normal characteristic of the manufacturing process and do not affect structural integrity.
