FAQ
What models does Yokomo B11-016H fit? Yokomo specifies the B11-016H Hard F/R Body Mount Set for the BD9, BD10 and BD11 touring car platforms.
What is different about the Yokomo B11-016H hard body mounts? The B11-016H mounts retain the basic shape of the standard BD-series body mounts but use a harder resin material. This creates a more rigid connection between the body and chassis.
What is the benefit of harder body mounts? Yokomo states that the harder resin allows downforce generated by the body to be transferred more efficiently to the chassis, helping increase traction. The resulting setup change can depend on the body, track surface and overall chassis setup.
Can Yokomo B11-016H be used at the front and rear? Yes. Yokomo identifies B11-016H as an F/R body mount set for compatible BD-series touring cars.
How many body mount parts are included? The Yokomo B11-016H package is supplied as a 2-piece hard body mount set.
Is B11-016H a standard replacement or tuning part? Yokomo parts documentation identifies B11-016H as an optional hard body mount. It can replace the corresponding standard-style mount when a harder body support is desired for chassis tuning.
Important Notes
- Body mount components only; RC car, body shell and other chassis components are not included
- Designed for compatible Yokomo BD9, BD10 and BD11 touring car applications
- Harder body mounting changes how body loads are transferred into the chassis and may alter vehicle handling
- Check the vehicle configuration and required mounting position before installation
