FAQ

What is Spaz Stix SZX10209 used for? SZX10209 is the Ultimate Black Backer specifically formulated for Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome paint. It helps produce the full reflective chrome effect while sealing and protecting the chrome layer.

Does Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome need Ultimate Black Backer? Yes. Spaz Stix specifies Ultimate Black Backer for its Mirror Chrome system. Without the correct backing, the chrome will have poor durability and can wipe away easily.

How is SZX10209 used on a clear polycarbonate RC body? When Mirror Chrome is sprayed inside a clear polycarbonate body, allow the chrome layer to dry as directed before applying Ultimate Black Backer over it. The black layer backs, seals and protects the chrome finish.

How is Ultimate Black Backer used for an external chrome finish? For external applications or surfaces other than polycarbonate, Spaz Stix specifies Ultimate Black Backer as the base coat underneath Mirror Chrome. The finished external chrome layer then requires a suitable Spaz Stix clear coat.

Is SZX10209 ordinary black RC body paint? SZX10209 is specifically formulated as Ultimate Black Backer for the Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome system. For a conventional opaque black primary colour, select a paint intended for that application.

Can Ultimate Black Backer be used with Spaz Stix Color Change paints? Yes. Spaz Stix retailers also specify Ultimate Black Backer for use as a backing colour with compatible Spaz Stix Color Change paints.
