The Natural Benefits of Wood

Wood feels naturally warm and velvety in a baby’s hands. Grimm’s plant-based oil finish protects the surface while preserving the wood’s natural texture and character.

Unlike heavily sealed materials, natural wood can absorb moisture from its surface, helping create a less favourable environment for bacteria. Its grain, texture and natural scent provide babies with a rich variety of early sensory experiences.

Gentle Sounds for Little Ears

The rainbow wooden discs produce a soft clattering sound as the rattle moves. This gentle sound encourages babies to shake, listen and explore cause and effect without being overly loud or stimulating.
