Description from Downies Collectables

There’s only one essential ingredient of a real Aussie Christmas pudding – genuine Australian silver! Without the ‘trey’ (threepence) and ‘zac’ (sixpence), it’s just not the real thing!

Symbolising good fortune and wealth for the finder for the year ahead, the custom of adding silver coins to the Christmas Pudding dates back to the 19th century. A key part of the Australian Christmas experience, you have the chance to maintain this longstanding tradition with these bags of original Australian predecimal silver coins. And, with each bag comprising six threepences and three sixpences, you can give anyone that missed out on a coin in the pudding one of the extras!

Beautifully presented in a Christmas Australiana themed gift box, this is your big chance to add an authentic Aussie flavour to your Christmas Day celebrations.
