A furniture package is a big spend for a client

They're being asked to commit to a sofa they've never sat on, a rug they've never seen in person and lighting they can't quite picture in the room. The document you put in front of them at that moment is the entire reason they say yes or hesitate.

If your schedule looks like a list put together in Excel with mismatched product photos they're going to want to "think about it." If it looks like a properly curated, beautifully laid out package, they sign off faster and you get going with placing the orders.

Is this the same as the FF&E Schedule?

No. They're two different documents and most designers need both.

The FF&E Schedule is for hard finishes e.g. tiles, paint, tapware, cabinetry hardware. You use it during the early specification phase.

This Furniture + Accessories Schedule is for the decorating phase e.g. sofas, rugs, lighting, soft furnishings, accessories, styling pieces. You use it when you're ready to present the curated furniture package.

If you only do styling or decoration work (no hard finishes), this is the only schedule you need. If you do full service interior design you'll want both.
